Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield and its family of companies entered a strategic partnership with Availity in 2020. As part of the alliance, Availity serves as the designated EDI Gateway providing portal and clearinghouse services for Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Availity is a multi-payer site where you can use a single user ID and password to work with Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Health Advantage, and other participating payers online. Availity is compliant with all HIPAA regulations, and there is no cost for providers to register or use any of the online tools. Arkansas Blue Cross providers now have access on Availity to check eligibility, submit claims, check status, view remittances, and a dedicated Payer Space that offers payer-specific apps and important announcements for plan and policy updates. The Availity Portal also offers free live and recorded training in the Availity Learning Center, plus an easy-to-use help system available through all transactions.
